Join your OST peers for the “Treasures in Cambridge Hunt” at 10:00am at the JFK Kennedy Memorial Park in Harvard Square. Our Treasure Hunt will end at Russell Field by 11:30am, where we will engage in celebratory activities, vibe to DJ Bruce’s music, and have a closing healing circle. You will be able to depart with a bag lunch as you head off to your program sites by 1:00pm.
Our OST Treasure Hunt will create the opportunity for us to
re-connect in person,
re-discover ourselves and the City we haven’t moved around in a while while having fun,
re-engage in expeditionary learning together, and
re-ignite the spirit of out OST community. We will reflect together how we will get our young people to rediscover their City.
Here’s what you need to know:
- You’ll be put on a team. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you can be with some friends and make new ones!
- Each team will be given clues as you (re)discover Cambridge with your team. And yes, we’ll keep points for you competitive folks!
- Our Treasure Hunt will end at Russell Field by 11:30am where we will engage in celebratory activities, vibe to DJ Bruce’s music, and have a closing healing circle.
- We’ll have lunch for you! You will be able to depart with a bag lunch as you head off to your program sites by 1:00pm.
Here’s what to bring:
- Your positive vibes and a willingness to try something new and fun
- A water bottle (stay hydrated!)
- Comfortable walking shoes and attire
- Roll up a beach towel in your backpack if you just want to chill-out on the ground once you get to Russell Field
